This week we celebrated the confirmation of one student, my own daughter, Jamie. Here was her faith statement in lieu of a sermon. I asked her to answer three questions:

Confirmation verse:

Proverbs 31:25 She is clothed in strength and dignity and she laughs without fear of the future.

  1. What were the highlights of your confirmation experience?

I really enjoyed snow tubing both years. I think I can give a lot of my credit to Megan. I think the lockdown last year was also one of my favorites.

 

  1. How did your faith in God grow over the 2-year program?

I think the more I learned about him the more I could and can be amazed at what He did and does. I can also grow my trust in him and love. I can understand why He does what He does.

 

  1. How do you plan on participating in the life of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church after confirmation?

I am planning to continue choir and singing up front, unless of course there are any objections. I also can help with anything to do with reading and baking. Lastly I love talking with the people in this congregation so I will be continuing that. Thank you for letting me be a part of this.
